This shoe is not offered in half sizes so wasn't sure about the fit. I wear an 8 1/2 so ordered an 8 - they were too small. In this first order - I ordered 3 pair one for me - too small, one for our water instructor - hers were too small and another watergal ordered a 10 and she said these fit great. I placed a 2nd order for myself and ordered 2 size 9 shoes. I wore them for the 1st time Wednesday, May 18th - on land and in the water they were a comfortable fit BUT I noticed the white patch on the outside was coming apart - the thread was coming out. I also noticed that when I took the insole out - that it had worn the bottom of the shoe. I was going to just keep these and do the sewing repair myself but now I see that the inside is not superior quality. I like to have 2 pair of water shoes going at the same time - I have a Ryka pair and now the Speedo and then one pair of Speedos to use at the end of the year. Can't decide whether to return both pair now.

These do really help me to keep better form during water exercise. For me, I wish there was a little more arch support, but I am not wearing them all day, so it's okay. I have noticed that I can put them in my locker (which has vents) and they will dry out enough so that I don't have to take them home to dry in the open air. Overall, I am really pleased to have made this purchase.
